Style Melbourne

White Suede Swim

of White Suede can celebrate as their limited edition swimwear collection launched this summer. Designer Jacqui Demkiw has sourced fabrics from Italy to create the vintage inspired collection.

It seems one-pieces and cut-outs are dominating the summer season so it’s refreshing to see some bikini’s make an appearance in White Suede’s collection as well as diversity in the cuts and prints of their one-pieces. White Suede have cleverly selected a few gorgeous fabrics and ensured they feature in each swimwear piece. The Lover One Piece in Riviera Floral has a gorgeous 70’s inspired floral pattern throughout, gathering on the top, sexy cut-out on the stomach and high waisted bikini bottoms. Frills feature predominantly throughout the collection adorning florals, tie-dye and metallic finishes to bringing frivolity to the collection.

White Suede, in their main line collection, execute experimenting with the new seasons trends well; they’ve also dabbled with this season’s animal print in their leopard bikini to tie-dye in their Havana Nights swim pieces. The Havana Night one-piece features a halter-neck bikini with material streamlining through to briefs with sides exposed. White Suede’s cut-out pieces are flattering, creating a sleek silhouette meeting our demands for flattering swimwear. Although Melbourne adores Summer, sometimes beach hair, sunburn and a the shortfalls of wearing make-up in the beachy heat can be challenging on our self esteem, so swimwear that works with the body is essential. Demkiw has ensured this collection works for those very moments.

As you are probably aware, Melbourne has an ongoing affair with black because we like to keep things classic and polished. So for the stylish, you’ll find an entire group of black swimwear pieces in bikini, cut-out and, for the confident, the deep V. Cut-outs are bold, either exposing the side of the waist or the stomach but are still flattering. Frills decorate the deep-V pieces bringing life to a classic cut and from the matte to those with sheen, fabrics are luxurious and resort inspired. The predominately blue mosaic pieces keep the retro look going along with buckles, lattice and frill detailing to compliment.

The White Suede Swimwear collection is an extension of an already successful garment label of bold and glamorous pieces.  Now we can enjoy White Suede style at the beach.
