Arabella Ramsay, Mimco & Lucette for Jeanswest

have been roping in some massive Australian designer names to collaborate on their Pink Ribbon Charity tee projects for five years now. The past few years have seen luminaries like Lifewithbird, Alannah Hill, Flamingo Sands, Manning Cartell,  Camilla & Marc, Alice McCall, Kirrily Johnston, Toni Maticevski, Wayne Cooper and more create signature T-shirt designs to raise funds for Pink Ribbon Day (raising awareness and funds for research, education and support around the issue of breast cancer).

2009 sees four new designs from Arabella Ramsay, design duo Lucette and accessories label Mimco who produced two designs. Arabella’s design is folksy, like a patchworked rug. My favourite is Lucette’s tee, diffusing their tribal look down into a stencilled feel. And Mimco has created a rock band motif in two different colours. Each designer tee is available for a limited time for $29.99, with $10 from each going to the Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon cause. They sell like hotcakes to those wanting to stock up on cool designer tees for summer at a bargain price so take note of their on-sale date this Monday 5th October.

2 Thoughts on “Arabella Ramsay, Mimco & Lucette for Jeanswest

  1. I buy these tees every year! Great cause!
Can’t wait to get the latest one’s from Monday!

  2. It’s a really cool idea and so inexpensive. I don’t think I ever recall seeing anyone wearing them either so you get a designer piece that not every one will be wearing guilt free 🙂
