Melbourne’s GPO MSFW launch

can probably tell by now that I’m a teensy tiny little bit excited about the events of next week. In my working life Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is like Xmas, New Year and my birthday have all come along at once (until I’m staring at 1000 deadlines anyway). I love catching up with everyone, watching as the days get warmer and enjoying looking at lots of pretty frocks suited to the races. Naturally I’m looking forward to Wednesday in particular as I get to be a part of the Melbourne’s GPO ‘Fashion at Altitude’ parades seeing as I’m fortunate to do some fashion writing work for them.

They recently held a cameo version of their shows to launch their MSFW program – a sneak peek if you like at their parades that booked out in about 30 seconds! Crooner Paris Zachariou (in Arthur Galan AG) serenaded models adorned in Paris Kyne headwear, Leona Edmiston, Lisa Ho, Akira and Manning Cartell frocks with his off the cuff swing style. I absolutely ADORE the splashy, vibrant ‘Scrapbook Maxi’ dress that was shown by Manning Cartell.

I think the make up styling has inspired me to wear bright lips and strong lash liner at least once next week too…

Hope to see you next Wednesday!
