Miss Greens Wardrobe #2

Last

night was take two for Rebecca George and her wonderful concept of exchanging high end designer clothing, that is of course, Miss Greens Wardrobe.  Baroq House played host yet again, and the venue was as decadent as ever, making for the perfect venue for a night of fashion, fun and a few drinks with the girls (and boys).

For those of you who are not familiar with Miss Greens Wardrobe, the event allows frugal and environmentally conscious fashionistas to swap their unwanted designer clothing with others, whilst enjoying the lush surrounds of a high class venue, drinks, food and plenty of exciting giveaways.

Rebecca and her wonderful team of helpers upped the ante on the first MGW event, this time including an amazing fashion parade featuring designs from sustainable Australian label, Farage.  Models were accessorised to perfection, wearing jewellery by the magnificent Airdrie Makim (Joolz) and delicious footwear was provided by Melissa Plastic Dreams.

The swap was underway by 8pm, and despite the madness, punters came away satisfied with many stunning designer pieces in hand.  Labels spotted included Chloe, BCBG Max Azria, Arabella Ramsay, Alannah Hill, Bettina Liano, Sass and Bide, Nicola Finetti and many many more sort after brands.

Guests departed with not only their fashion finds, but a cute little goodie pack with products and services from several of Miss Greens closest friends, including Soul Sisters, MOP, Farage, Melissa Plastic Dreams, Masci Hair & Spa, Joolz and Blondes to Brunettes.

Style Melbourne continues to be a proud supporter of Miss Greens Wardrobe, we fully support the message of eco-friendly, sustainable fashion that Rebecca and her team continue to promote.  Be sure to keep checking Miss Greens Wardrobe and Style Melbourne for further information and updates on Miss Greens next exciting event, Miss Greens Garden Party, to be held as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week in September.
