Roll Up, roll up… to Catwalk Circus!

When it rolled into town earlier this week – rather than a big top – Catwalk Circus was housed under the ornate ceiling of the Melbourne Town Hall. And rather than golden-maned lions being tamed there was fierce fashion on show. Instead of caramel corn there were cocktails, instead of

Run away & join the Catwalk Circus

Roll up, roll up! Fashion + live music + dancers + animation + death-defying acrobatic acts = Catwalk Circus! From the team that brought you Catwalk Theatre last year and The Naked Truth in 2009, comes this pre-LMFF fashion extravaganza. Under Catwalk Circus’ big top tent full of designers will be

Sail Melbourne Ladies Day

Overcast skies & whistling winds meant the yachts didn’t set sail yesterday yet Sail Melbourne still saw a merry crew of lovelies for lunch at Ladies Day. The Sandringham Yacht club hosted a stylish feast to celebrate the sporting event and in aid of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation‘s quest

Sail Melbourne Ladies Day

Ah, Sail Melbourne; probably the closest I will ever get to sailing around exotic islands on my own shiny, white yacht. Still pretending to be a lady who lunches for a day will be fun as the ISAF Sailing World Cup hosts Ladies Day on Wednesday 15th December from 11.45am

Made in Donald

Made  in Donald is a creative label that has had people whispering its name for a while. Nadia Pearse, the designer of Made in Donald, explains that the name of the label refers to the town Donald in central Victoria that she grew up in. Before starting her own collection,

A Double Pass to ELFE at MSFW

For  the uninitiated ELFE stands for Eco-Luxe Fashion Exposé – it’s green, it’s stylish and it’s on the official schedule for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2009. The brainchild behind the event is eco-conscious designer Emily Highfield of Vintage Soul. Joining her at ELFE will be labels such as Lady Petrova,
