About Us

StyleMelbourne…Explore Style & Design from the Fashion Capital

You can read about the catwalks of Milan, London, New York and Paris in all the international glossy magazines…

But what about that fabulous little boutique that has just popped up around the corner? Or that innovative new local label that nobody else has discovered yet?

For budding design talent we love to play cheerleader…

For the firmly established fashion names we love to toast your success…

For our precious local readers we’ll be your backstage pass…

For our friends in faraway lands we will show you what you’re missing out on…

For emerging photographers and writers we’ll be your showcase and key to the city…

The StyleMelbourne team is interested in hearing about and sharing news on Melbourne fashion, beauty, design and stylish events around the city and across the state.

The StyleMelbourne Fashion Collective

sarzpic.jpgSarah Willcocks, Editor/”Fashion Overlord“- After working as a freelance lifestyle writer for years covering a variety of topics from beauty, bars and health to classic cars, I.T and the arts, I’ve well and truly fallen into/in love with fashion. I still get a buzz from working in our lovely, layered city and this particular industry is so interwoven into the community. Though the fashion scene is easy to get lost in, I try not to take it all too seriously and I hope StyleMelbourne can be a valuable addition to the style media set. The aim is to keep it simple (and stylish). sarah@stylemelbourne.com

bronpic.jpgBronwyn Miller, Assistant Editor – I am currently studying Communications by night, and work with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade by day.  My passions include reading, writing, fashion, music and all things Melbourne.  Recently, I’ve been trying my hand at the odd bit of fashion photography, I’m still learning, but loving it all the same! I love going to fashion shows and store openings that feature up and coming Melbourne designers as I get a kick out of supporting the local scene and writing pieces from catwalk couture to the latest, hottest trends in fashion. bronwyn@stylemelbourne.com

amandapic.jpgAmanda Phoon, Writer/Photographer – I worship many icons, especially Scott Schuman! I have a great weakness for shoes, chocolate and eating out. When I am not looking at teeth and books all day in university, I love taking street style photos and poking around little vintage stores. I try to dress eclectic, but unfortunately it sometimes draws loud belly laughs from my friends. I’m currently obsessed with lace gloves and foil capes a la D&G. limecraft@gmail.com The P Life

christinepic.jpgChristine Kelman, Photographer – Christine runs her own photography business called Divine Photography. Her motto for her line of work is ‘your dreams and memories captured forever’. Christine specialises in glamour, fashion, public events, portraits, children, landscape, sports and music photography as well as acting as the photographer at all kinds of parties and private events. divinephotography@live.com.au divine-photography.webs.com 0413 017 800

michaelt.jpgMichael Todor, Photographer - Michael focuses primarily on fashion, music and social events around Melbourne. Care is taken to ensure that each shot captures the essence of the moment and is of the highest possible quality. Recent events covered include several shows throughout the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the launch of Miss Green’s Wardrobe and the Melbourne V Festival and various one off runway shoots. Michael is currently pursuing his passion for music based photography during the fashion industry’s ‘down time’ (winter…too cold for models).  To view more of Michael’s work, please visit www.todorphotography.com

anthonyl.jpgAnthony Licuria, Photographer - Anthony’s primary focus is fashion and celebrity photography, and has recently been snapping at the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Future Music Festival and various other high profile events around Melbourne.  Currently, Anthony also works on a weekly basis taking snaps at some of Melbourne’s hottest clubs – so be sure to smile if you see him out and about!  For Anthony, his work is not a job; it is a lifelong passion into which Anthony throws himself into with commitment and dedication.  Anthony ensures that he not only captures the moment through his shots, but insists that each frame encompasses the feeling and emotion going on around the lens in order to produce the most aesthetically superior images. www.aplphotography.com.au
