Melbourne à la mode is a collective, ephemeral fashion store that will soon materialise in the grand George Ballroom. The shop will feature The Eternal Headonist’s wonderful hats and headpieces, Lady Petrova’s effervescent collections, Hawkeye Vintage’s treasures (pictured), Micky in the Van’s off-beat designs, Dainty and Bold’s jewels, T Serafina’s evening wear and even French furniture from antique parlour Anton Venoir. The first day will offer private and new collections while the second will be a clearance of archival pieces. The Eternal Headonist will host a workshop on how to best dress our heads for the upcoming racing carnival, while Lady Petrova presents a DIY flower crown class (we’ll have to join the waiting list for the latter).
In its first incarnation, Melbourne à la mode is open to the public for two days only. Uncover full details and updates by joining them here.
