Tiffany & Co. National Designer Award 2015 | VAMFF

Last night at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival was brought to you by the letter ‘T”; for Tiffany trophies and triumphant tears! Amanda Cumming and Kate Reynolds of Melbourne label Pageant were revealed as the winners of the 2015 Tiffany & Co. National Designer Award. Judged by VAMFF CEO Graeme Lewsey, Tiffany & Co. VP Glen Schlehuber, last year’s winning designers Strateas.Carlucci, David Jones’ Donna Player, Harper’s Bazaar editor Kellie Hush, matchesfashion.com founder Ruth Chapman and être cécile’s Yasmin Sewell, Pageant receive $100,000 in prizes (including a trip to visit Tiffany & Co.’s creative team in New York and Jakarta Fashion Week, lookbook styling by Harper’s Bazaar and editorial and mentorship on matchesfashion.com).

In front of a VIP audience including international fashion writers Derek Blasberg and Dana Thomas, stylist Catherine Baba, actress Kat Stewart, Vogue ed. Edwina Mccaan, models Andreja Pejic, Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox, and speaking through “I’m a bit emotional” tears Kate said, “It’s such an amazing opportunity for Pageant and we’re so excited to make the most of it”.

Honourable mention to the other distinguished finalists this year; bul, Verner, Emma Mulholland and Macgraw.
