Style has become omnipresent. From wardrobe, to home, to work, now even your lunch can be improved with a little thoughtful style. So the below presents what I think might just be the top 10 most stylish events of the 2015 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival calender. In no particular order…

– Also a part of VAMFF, Designer Bites sees avant garde hat maker Richard Nylon pair up with queen of the kitchen Philippa Sibley at Prix Fixe. If I could only pick one thing at MFWF2015 this might just be it!
Mar 4, 7pm

– Or else it would definitely be Diamonds in the Sky, which sounds like a Bond movie and is sure to be just as glam. Dessert and drinks inspired by Bensimon’s sparkling collection will be on offer at Southbank’s 28 Skybar.
Mar 6, 7pm

– You know I adore just about everything Milk the Cow does? It’s hard to find fault as they Celebrate French Cheese & Wine
Various dates, 1pm or 7pm

– The magical Coombe Estate invites us to Dine from Melba’s Garden. With glasses of Blanc de Blanc and courses plucked fresh from the diva’s garden they shouldn’t have to ask twice.
Feb 27 & 28, 6pm

– High Tea in Paris. Because The Waiting Room is way closer than Charles De Gaulle airport. It’s one underrated bar too. I’ve previously sworn they do the prettiest high tea in town.
Various dates, 12.30pm or 2.30pm

– From, in my humble opinion, one of the best eateries and bars in Melbourne comes the Saint Crispin St Kilda Pop-up. We’d be so lucky to sample their wares in more-relaxed-than-usual setting. Now with added lawn bowls.
Mar 6, 12pm or 6pm

– Is there anything more “Melbourne” than an espresso martini? Tom Thumb is offering up an award-winning, special version as part of the fest for Get Wired.
Feb 27, 6pm

– I’ll be honest. I chose this one because brunch (it is just breakfast that you can drink at and sleep in for after all) is the best meal of the day. And The Conservatory is super pretty: Chandon in the Conservatory.
Various dates, 10.30am

– Are you following ‘Hot Dudes Reading’ on Instagram yet? It seems being literary, or at least being literate, is back in style. Fiction in the Kitchen capitalises on this welcome happening with roast lamb, red wine and novel readings.
Mar 3 or 10, 7pm

– I have a few everyday obsessions: candles, pyjamas and herbal tea. The latter is celebrated at Collins Quarter’s Eat, Drink, Tea where it will feature as an unexpected star ingredient in edibles and cocktails.
Feb 28, 2pm

The MFWF 2015 line-up is so tasty, that I just can’t resist giving a shout out to the rest of what would have been a top 20: Yarra Riverside Pop-up Picnic, Pottery and Dinner in the Studio with Shelley Panton, 28 Skybar’s The Ulitmate High Tea, Paint to Plate with Bendigo Art Gallery and NGV, the amazing Janice Wong High Tea, La Vie En Rose, Abbortsford Convent Pop-Up Picnic, the uneccesarily hash-tagged #MelbourneFromAbove, Fly First Class Around Italy (yes please) and Danish & Japanese Love Affair. I’d love to hear about what you saved the date for in the comments below.

And – if you prefer your eventing on the more grown-up side – don’t forget to check out DrinkMelbourne’s Top 30 recommendations.
