Seasonal Delights

Photography by Stu Morley

Sweet potato, black fungi, black seaweed and ricotta-filled squid ink ravioli topped with fried basil seeds and black sesame seeds, garnished with parmesan crisp inspired by Kathryn Beker. Gown by Kathryn Beker, scarf by Swash London, sunglasses by Cutler and Gross, cuff by Yunus & Eliza, all accessories from Christine.

Earlier this year I was invited by genius team at The Bowler Associates to play the (very minor) role of curating a list of local fashion labels to be part of the ‘Seasonal Delights: Consumption of Trends and Worlds Around Us’ fashion, food and art exhibition. That may seem like a complex title but really the project was about trends, influences and influencers across industries and the inspiration to create beautiful images within the couture and culinary worlds. I’ve been waiting to share the finished results with you for quite a while – hope you are inspired by the photographs as much as I am!

Take a look at the Seasonal Delights exhibition opening as part of VAMFF earlier in the year.

Hands up who thinks creating a couture cookbook next is a good idea?
