Win a Rachel Rutt x Wool and the Gang Knit!

Rachel Rutt for Wool and the Gang

Central Saint Martins students Aurelie Popper and Jade Harwood really like knits or “sexy stitch” as they put it. The Alexander McQueen and Balmain trained duo have founded a London label Wool and the Gang. Can you guess which 60’s funk band they are referencing in their label name? Each of WatG’s ready to wear designs are hand knitted by talented artisans in Peru and each is unique.

The label celebrates sustainability, a DIY ethos and the knitting-is-cool renaissance. Aurelie and Jade have also been commissioned to create special knit projects around the world; for clients like Mini, Veuve Clicquot and the Colette boutique in Paris (you may vaguely have heard of those). Apparently they have fans in Meryl Streep, Marion Cotillard, Christy Turlington and Girls’ Jemima Kirke too.

Another fan is Australian professional beauty Rachel Rutt who is no stranger to knitting (check out her personal tumblr for evidence + puppy!) The raven-haired model has teamed up with Wool and the Gang to collaborate on cotton knitwear kits for our Australian Summer. Each knit kit holds everything you’ll need to DIY a bikini, swimwear, tunic, sweater or skirt.

Thanks to Wool and the Gang I have a Rachel Rutt knit kit to giveaway to one lucky reader. All you have to do to enter is;
