Lookbook | Gorman | Spring 2014

This Spring, Gorman is time travelling; clashing ancient history with the quasi-futuristic. The label pits ‘Hieroglyphics vs Holographics’. The latter is yet to be unveiled, but a seasonal preview shows the former as a ‘Gorman-ised‘ Egyptian sensibility. We find another clash at this point. This time it’s cultural, as dying techniques – woodblock, bleach, hand painting, screen prints, ikat – some discovered on a trip to India, come to the fore.

The collection is looking really fun and strong to me so far. What say you? Will you pick up a few pieces come August 1 or will you wait to see what hologram goodness will soon be revealed?
