Style Spy: Polo in the City 2012

Sunshine, champagne and the chicest of sports; I do fancy the polo. Melbourne’s leg of Polo in the City transformed Albert Park into a societal soiree this past weekend. Land Rover debuted their marquee in typically outdoors-y style. Their charming “picnic” was complete with hay-bales, checkered rugs and rustic wicker hampers. Woodford Reserve welcomed guests to recline in supple leather armchairs with a bourbon cocktail or two. They seemed to host the best dressed gents of the day. Meanwhile head-liner Paspaley entertained over two sunny storeys (the upper deck being the prime vantage point in which to watch the chukkas). Their design was suitably oceanic; laden with pearls, oysters and assorted seafaring paraphernalia. Let’s see what the best dressed wore to Polo in the City…
