DressCode: Silk & Ink

I was recently invited on a (very welcome post-fashion week) mini-retreat up to Daylesford by my friend Iolanthe. More to come on my first visit to so-called Spa Country shortly; but first I wanted to share a little of what I wore that weekend. The location below is the garden of Holly Lodge, our unexpectedly luxurious accommodation for the evening. Each room in the home is styled differently from Parisian chic to masculine to rustic. And the garden itself is expansive, with distinct little areas to explore including a mini orchard, the pond, an elevated pebble courtyard and a deck on which to dine by candlelight. I feel a little more relaxed again already just looking back at the photos.

I admit to a now full-blown addiction to blazers (can I get away with calling it ‘signature style’?) This one is by Friend of Mine. So lovely with its leather lapel and navy silk.
Gemstone pendent also Friend of Mine. Their similar Venus rings are also on my wishlist.
Heels by Betts.
Nails by New York Color. The best bright tangerine.
