High SocieTEA

The result of sunshine, good company and a glass of something adult to sip can prove greater than the sum of its parts. The combination was almost alchemic this afternoon as Werribee Mansion officially launched its version of high tea; SociaTEA. The venue is a luxurious setting in which to enjoy sandwiches and petit fours along with the obligatory jolly good scone. Exotic tea blends are free flowing and - unusual at many high tea events – guests also enjoy a tea-inspired cocktail and champagne on arrival. Typically served in the library, we were lucky today to be treated to high tea out on the mansion’s historic balcony. Quite simply put it’s the best high tea this glutton has ever experienced. Let’s take a look at Melbourne’s high tea style…

SocieTEA is served at Werribee Mansion on the last Sunday of every month. Secure your seat here.
