New art space 1156 Gallery, has launched with an exhibition by renowned Australian-bred, French-based fashion photographer Denis Piel. Titled ‘Moments’ the showcase is a mixture of campaign, magazine and nude imagery. A retrospective book of Piel’s works – also called ‘Moments’ – has just been released which features the actresses and models that came into focus through his lens such as Christy Turlington, Uma Thurman and Nastassja Kinski.
