Primarily a rooftop private event and pop-up space, Tonic House launched with the carnivalesque atmosphere so suited to its events-making caretakers The Greatest Show on Earth. The building itself used to be a Victorian-era wine store named A.B Tonic thus the new name. Usually my favourite caterers/party-throwers Bright Young Things will look after the consumables here, however come every third Sunday from November 18th guest chefs will present their take on the lazy weekend afternoon barbecue. So putting that in my diary as a new Summer tradition. Stay tuned to the website for tickets to be released soon.
Is there anything more sublime than hanging out atop a rooftop strung with fairy lights on a balmy Melbourne eve?
