Following on from Lisa Gorman’s recent collaboration with artist Rhy Lee, comes a new collaboration with Melbourne jewellery label House of Baulch. You may have already spied some of the pieces adorning models’ outfits on the runway during Gorman’s recent showcase at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week? I think House of Baulch for Gorman is a genius pairing; both labels have an eye for graphic shapes, a slightly retro feel and a bold sense of colour. The project began as Kathryn Baulch was showing Lisa Gorman jewellery designs in development for her mainline ‘Equinoxe’ collection. The idea to produce a capsule range for the fashion label was sparked and, after a few adjustments and soaking up Gorman’s colour palette for the season (juicy pink, green and orange), this exclusive collection was born. The wear-it-any-which-way tassel chain necklace in a honey mustard hue is now firmly planted on my wishlist.
