Alice Euphemia‘s four-day Garage Sale starts today and as you can see I’ve been busy “working” on my Australian Fashion project with a couple of new purchases below. I must be on a silver kick at the moment! Both pieces are by Tali Roth; I think this makes her label the one I most have hanging in my wardrobe. I also spied some tempting city-print Romance Was Born pieces and really wanted to buy a sky blue blazer by The Eleventh Hour too (sadly it was perfect apart from draping bulkily at my hips – non-hipped people get onto that one).
In an effort to build a curated wardrobe I’m trying to only purchase pieces for which I can instantly think of three ways to wear them. The sweater I would wear with some block pastel coloured jeans or a floral maxi skirt come spring, for now perhaps layered over a collared shirt. The skirt I would winterise over opaque stockings or toughen it up with a leather jacket, then come the warmer seasons pair it with bare legs and a peplum blouse. Your styling suggestions welcome!
Reasons to shop Tali Roth: Her youthful perspective and great colour matching.
