Were you one of the lucky ones to see Prince on his latest Australian tour? You may have noticed the striking support act; London songstress Delilah (Prince personally requested her to join him on stage). While she was on our shores, Delilah managed to fit in a fashion shoot for Couturing. I dropped by the studio to capture all of the behind the scenes action. Delilah’s style is what I would describe as ‘glam urbanite’ and this shoot reflected her personality by clashing Givenchy with Ksubi, YSL with Doc Martens. A little Melbourne fashion even sneaked into the mix courtesy May the label.
The finished shoot will be published mid-July. While you’re looking through the behind the scenes photography below, do YouTube Delilah’s song ‘Go’ – it’s soulful ear candy (bonus points for the homage to Chaka Khan ‘Ain’t Nobody’).
