Models anointed with gold glitter presented Melbourne designer Toni Maticevski’s couture collection as a grand finale for the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Looks ranged from dramatically dystopian to ethereal. Maticevski’s continuing “fractured” aesthetic showcased gowns that appeared to have been wrenched apart by a hurricane and reassembled in an abstract fashion. Further embellishment came in the form of sequins, tulle and feathers and hand-crafted daisies.
What was the highlight for you at LMFF this year?
