Designer Call-Out: Indesouk

One for the fashion designers and budding frockstars among us…

A souk is a traditional Arabian marketplace. Yet “Indesouk” – a new online marketplace for independent designers – is anything but old-fashioned. It prides itself on valuing slow fashion, innovative design and “heirloom craftsmanship”.

Indesouk is already the new virtual home for some of my favourite local labels like Kathryn Beker, Eva Q, Catherine Leon, Livia Arena, and above,  along with emerging labels such as the intriguingly named Tokyo Kaleidoscope.

If you are a maker of beautiful, fashionable wearables and this sounds like a fitting new online space in which to hawk your wares I have a little sweetener for you. If you’ve been toying with the idea of opening your very own online store now is the time…

Apply to become a stallholder on Indesouk by December 31st 2011 and all accepted designers will go in the draw to win a pretty darn fantastic watch by O Clock! All you have to do to win is;

1. Apply to become an Indesouk seller by clicking here.

2. Wait to see if you are approved for a marketplace.

3. The winner will be announced January 31st 2012. Simple!

P.S. If you’d like to know more details about how being a seller on Indesouk works before applying simply contact them here.
