Local milliner Rebecca Share has won the 2011 Millinery Award at Flemington with a curvy navy and red creation; almost a hat within a hat. Second was Mandy Murphy with a classic rose studded piece and thirdly Louise Macdonald’s design also mimicking flora. Both runners-up are also based in Melbourne which is handy for we racegoers next year. I also adored Lisa Tan, Lynette Lim and Ann Shoebridge’s creations.
