MSFW: Manhattan Nights

Did you know there is a hierarchy of establishments in which to imbibe at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week? As someone who adores cocktails this delights me to no end. There’s the exclusive to MSFW-goers Sparkling bar. Then lucky are the few who get the nod for the VIP bar. Then there is the third level which is a whole other level of lovelieness.

Welcome to Manhattan Nights (or the Roaring 20’s room; whatever’s your poison). I managed to sneak past the armed guards receive an invitation to enjoy the New York inspired room as part of The Art of the Cocktail Hour experience pre-Designer Series runway on Tuesday evening. Some familiar faces joined me too (hello Yeojin Bae & Dom Bagnato), so here’s to kicking off fashion week in style…

The Cointreau Teese (apparently developed by Dita Von Tesse herself); Cointreau, apple juice, violet syrup & lemon juice.

Miss Cecylia Kee, blogger & now stylist.
