Swiss jewellery house Chopard‘s ‘Basel’ collection of diamond encrusted jewels and timepieces is presently traversing the globe. Their luxury collection only graces one city in each country on its round-the-world tour and on Wednesday evening Melbourne was the Australian destination.
Local jewellers Anton hosted the collection, named after one of Switzerland’s most cultural cities. The range features classic pieces but also a modern injection of fresh, welcome colour (lilac, aqua) on wrist-bands. While gem-laden chokers were entrancing by their mere preciousness, a tropical-themed watch featuring a seaturtle in diamonds was a personal highlight.
