Your
mission, should you chose to accept it, is to revel in an evening of vintage glamour as Mission 65 raises a glass to Prahran Mission’s 65 years of community service. This celebration is also a fundraising event incorporating a fashion show inspired by the 1940′s and Dior’s famed ‘New Look’ as well as a silent auction.
Taking heed of the wartime mantra of “make do and mend”, designers such as a.concept’s Anthony Capon, Jenny Bannister, Kara Baker, Candice Deville, Clemente Talarico and Madam Virtue will transform existing pieces (sourced from Prahran Mission’s opportunity shops) into vintage inspired beauties.
Mission 65, hosted by Fashion Torque stylist Philip Boon and Jenny Bannister, is supported by the Whitehouse Institute of Design students. The event will be held at Red Bennies, level 1, 373 Chapel street, South Yarra from 7pm on Wednesday 1st June. To purchase tickets (includes drink on arrival) click here and remember to dress in your 40′s finest.
