Beauty industry-only event Salon Melbourne returned this past weekend with three seasonal catwalk shows presenting a live lookbook of beauty (and fashion) trends for the Autumn Winter 2011 season.
The Creme Caramel look is typified by sleek flowing hair and a natural face highlighted with bronze metallics and contoured with olive, khaki and tan tones.
Salon Melbourne’s version of Autumn Armour includes a textural top knot paired with vampy, red wine-stained lips and smoky autmnal-hued eyes. Think fallen leaves and mulled wine.
The 60′s Ladylike style turned retro make up modern. Baby pink lips, pinched-cheeked porcelain skin and heavy, winged eye liner topped off modern feminine looks.
The looks below feature a bunch of local lables including Braide, Michael V couture, Miss Lyndel Yeo, GMK, Alexi Freeman and Jolet…
