(Pre)RAFW: Thurley Tresses

Thurley‘s pre-RAFW showcase was set amid the Woollahra Post Office, which was transformed into almost a Garden of Eden atmosphere with vines and fruit laden tables. Designer Helen O’Connor’s  show was a profusion of sequins, feathers and fringing. When it came to transformation of the model’s locks however, the Schwarzkopf team were in command.

Their concept for the Thurley runway look, “was to create a sleek ponytail with a modern twist. The clothes were very detailed so we wanted to keep the hair minimal yet current so we used product to create a more textured finish to a classic look. The modern take on a ponytail is a great style that can easily be taken from the runway and applied to everyday fashion.”

To recreate this look with key Schwarzkopf products: Apply Osis Thrill with a tint brush and comb through. Secure your ponytail with hat elastic. Use Osis Magic to piece out the hair in the ponytail. Finish the look by liberally applying Osis Sparkler which keeps the hair separated and creates that wet-look.
