A trio of uber-stylists converged in Melbourne earlier this week to showcase (and show off) some of their hair trend predictions for 2011. Revlon Professional’s Miguel Garcia presented soft, thick 80′s waves; think Kim Basinger or Jessica Rabbit. Paul Wilson for American Crew created what they are terming the ‘New Folk’ look for men – essentially 70′s rock and roll with lots of Jim Morrison curl. American Crew also included slicked back retro Clark Kent styles and short sporty cuts with directional texture. While our very own Kevin Murphy had some fun with frizzed-out, afro-licious styles and sky high, ‘Mars Attacks’ spray-painted hair-dos. Inspiration for your tresses in 2011 below…
