As the big events season starts to kick its heels up in Melbourne (how many Xmas/end of year/break up parties have you got penciled in over the next month, my count is half a dozen already) it may be time to pep up a shamefully lacklustre wardrobe with a new showstopping addition.
One party-killer option is Anna Campbell‘s current ‘Pastel Dreams’ collection for Spring. The range is undeniably girly yet it is her edgier ‘Ace of Spades’ maxi dress that I’ve taken a particular fancy to. The inky-hued gown features a lazer cut hero embellishment, reminiscent of a pop-up tribal tattoo bursting from the bustline or back.
Other features throughout the collection include silk roses at the back, chantilly lace, braided straps and a couple of floral print options. Also love Anna Campbell featuring the lace trend this season, especially in a 20′s style cap and cropped jacket; piece that appear to me like instant airlooms. The range allows you to swathe yourself in luxurious georgette, silk organza & tulle in milky mocha, pearly white, lilac and black. Peek at a few of my favourite AC designs below…
