I skipped along to a fund-raiser for a special cause last weekend and I thought since 99.9% of you reading this little blog of mine are fashion-inclined you might be able to help! The Tiara Project are a registered charity who collect pre-loved formal dresses to hire out for free to young ladies who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend their own debutante balls, formals, dances, graduations and socials.
The things the Tiara Project needs most are;
-fashionable dresses, shoes and accessories that young women would like to wear (not the puffy 80’s throwback frock you were forced to wear when you last played bridesmaid). It is Spring cleaning time after all!
-a great big space to store their collection. Anyone got an empty warehouse to share?
– volunteers to help guide the girls through the process of choosing a dress and fitting them. Hello budding stylists, dressmakers and fashionable lovelies in general.
