David Jones presented a preview of vibrant yet elegant designs set to dazzle crowds at Melbourne’s many race days this year at MSFW.  2010’s major trend is nude. “Nude is so beautiful, it’s a really classic colour which is just gorgeous as a signature piece. And it can be worn in so many ways, it really is a winner” words of stylistic wisdom from David Jones face of racing Emma Freedman.

The races are usually dominated by dresses, but this year aim to stand out with a stunning pant suit or add some excitement with bold colours and bright prints, except for on Derby Day (please stick to convention ladies and black and white only for the day) The very lovely Emma suggests purchasing outfits in pieces from a range of ensembles and mixing and matching them for a dramatic and electric effect and a different look for everyday of race week.
