It is certainly nice to have friends in high places – now a pair of Australian designers have made a few new friends to add to their arsenal. LIFEwithBIRD designers Nicholas Van Messner and Bridget McCall were introduced to the New York fashion set at a private party thrown for them by Calvin Klein’s creative director Francisco Costa last week. They were joined by illustrious company; from editors at Harper’s Bazaar US, Vogue US, Allure, Wall St Journal, Elle to influential taste-makers from Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Who else wishes they could have crashed this little soiree? Here’s hoping Nick and Bridget make a splash!
