Ice Wonderland at Designers House

By

The Ice Wonderland spaciousness of Designers House was transformed into a winding runway last Friday night at their Ice Wonderland parade.

El Amuleto presented sexy figure hugging dresses in shades of rust complementing sleek black.  Cut outs offered a cheeky take on flowing styles, while leather mixed with rich beading and sequin embellishment ensured an offering of the perfect party dress.

Tim O’Connor enlisted plenty of faux fur in his latest collection, contrasting the delicate ruffles and silks also on offer.  Little Joe (by Gail Elliott) created an ultra feminine collection, utilising lace, silk and  blush tones while keeping it modern and edgy by adding zipper and beading details.

Modern Lovers ensured that fans of quirky were not neglected, a crowd favourite being their multi-coloured sequin bolero that sparkled in all the right places.  Other pieces included in the super funky and fresh collection included houndstooth wool coats, faux fur vests and a delightful ‘little red riding hood’ style cape – in bright red.

Rosemin are all grown up, showing a collection steeped in sophistication, primarily using black and white.  The key to Rosemin’s winter line was all in the texture, using fabrics from lace to lame, it is certainly a winner, and those in attendance seemed to be impressed.

See our gallery for other labels on show including Quiz, ML Denim, Annah Stretton, Sissi G, Kenzo, Alyce Platt, Anatomie and Kanchi.
