Entry is $3 and there will be a fairytale-like fashion parade at 1pm.

I think it’s a long shot but Michelle Obama has been invite to the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival when she visits Australia next month. If it does happen (I have everything crossed) I hope that some innovative Australian designers can outfit her for the duration.

The Sustainable Living Festival starts next week and has several offerings for the fashion-inclined. On Sunday 21st February you can workshop at ‘Re-mixed Re-worked Re-Fashioned’ and give life to your existing wardrobe. On Friday 19th you can listen to a discussion on teh darker side of fashion at the ‘Sustaining Fashion?’ forum. And on Saturday 20th take in a ‘SLOW Fashion’ show.
