Alexi 
Freeman opens his first ever boutique for a limited time only at Melbourne’s GPO (corner of Bourke and Elizabeth streets in the city) next Tuesday 8th December at 10am. The pop-up shop will remain open through January 2010 and is on level 1 (take the elevator, near Zimmermann).
The boutique will house the designer’s much-loved current collection and a retrospective of limited, notoriously hard to find pieces from his previous collections. All of Alexi’s pieces are unique designs made here right in Melbourne so if you want to treat yourself to an exclusive Xmas present of Australian style this could be just the place to visit. Art installations will also be a feature of the store comprising of Alexi’s own collaborative works with architect Aaron Roberts of Room11.
There is also a launch party that you are all invited to on Friday 11th December from 5pm to 8pm. Join us for a drink and bring your credit cards as there is a lot of trying on and shopping to be done!
