Monette Spring Summer 09/10

Inspired by women who crave quality in their shoes, Monette’s latest footwear collection brings a taste of Europe to Melbourne. All with their own name from Carrie to Tiffany, you’ll find bursts of colour, high shine patent and this Springs pastels in Monette’s collection.

Monette shoes are all 100% hand made with high quality full upper leather and lining. Designs are timeless yet incorporate simple detailing from this season including the wedge, chunky heel, peep toe and our continuinng affair with bows and all things feminine. Honourable shoe mentions include the Jodi, slingback, peeptoe wedge available in black and cream. The wooden wedge is cut out which gives the shoe a more dainty feel and I can already see myself teaming it with my floral maxi. Whitney colour ‘pops’ in a bright yellow peep toe teamed with a clear cut out wedge. Divine! Monette has taken all styles into consideration with the Tiffany and Chloe’s avaialbe in black, pink, blue and purple leather and suede suede with a closed wedge and contrast colours decorating a strip on the back of the shoe. So although wedges are in, you’ll also find your closed T-bar heels in black for something from corporate to evening or Liliana in a clean white peep toe. Liliana has a buckle embellishment and wooden stiletto heel which is simple yet classic. If you’re looking for something tougher you can’t go past Rebecca in a brown and bronze leather, closed shoe, wooden heal with metallic buckle detailings adorning ankle and front. The Christina heels in black and pink take the slingback around the ankle with a black buckle and secure the gorgeous shoe to your comfortable feet. Luxurious patent leather features and well structured heels represent dedication in workmanship from Monette in their collection.

The Jade flats look extremely comfortable with gathered leather contoured to your feet and mixed fabrics for front, back with a blend of suede and leather. Perfect for denim or a spring frock, a very versatile style for your wardrobe. For warmer days, the Indiana sandal in black and metallic silver straps in a T-bar style with ankle clip, closed back and a classic jewel on the top to keep the glam factor in.
