To
those who appreciate iconic handbags or the work of the Louis Vuitton house; time to take note. As part of the celebrations for the new Louis Vuitton store at the revamped Chadstone, they are hosting an exhibition of classic “Speedy” bags over the years.
Introduced in the 30′s, the Speedy has since evolved and this retrospective looks at their Marc Jacobs era in particular and examples of the label’s collaboration with artists such as Richard Prince, Stephen Sprouse and Tkashi Murakami.
Plus the silver and gold ‘Miroir’ Speedy will be showcased and will be available to buy for those who treat their bags far better than I! Look at it over there in all its metallic-dipped fabulousness – a cheering sight. The exhibition runs from Wednesday the 18th November until Wednesday 2nd December at the Louis Vuitton Chadstone boutique 1341 Dandenong Road Chadstone.
