Flexiflats is an ingenious little company started to end the suffering of any poor lad forced to piggyback their girlfriend home from big events due to stiletto worn feet. Flexiflats are cute little ballet flats in silver, pink and black that roll up into a small, lightweight pouch to fit easily into any average sized handbag so you can slip them on at the end of the day and not do the barefoot limping walk of shame home. They will be sold at the Caulfield Guineas, the Caulfield Cup, the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and the Geelong Cup. $1 from each pair sold will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

A photographic insight into master milliner Paris Kyne’s work will be on exhibit at the Melbourne Art Rooms (MARS) 418 Bay Street Post Melbourne from October 13th. Entitled “Mould and Shape” the series is by photographer Fiona Hamilton.
