Have
you been to one of Miss Green’s Wardrobe fashion exchange events yet? Whether you have been a savvy swapper in the past or not Miss Green invites you to her Garden Party! As part of the official Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2009 schedule there will be NO clothes swapping this time around instead replaced by a high-end, eco-friendly fashion parade, organic wine on arrival, afternoon tea, goodie bags, special discounts and the chance to frock up with prizes for best garden party ensemble.
Designers asked to create a one-off, “green” yet elegant, spring races outfit to showcase on parade include Jenny Bannister, Nicolangela, BODY by Dainy Sawatzky, Miss Lyndel Yeo, Alexi Freeman, Sideshow Design, Leonard St, Made In Donald, Davis Eyes, K.B.A.D, Sara Victoria, Lady Boutique, Eva Huynh, Tullia Jack, Joolz, Tiffany Treloar, Hopeless Hotel and Hair Fascinators. Never worry about wearing the same outfit as someone else to the races again with your chance to bid for your favourite designer outfit after the show (50% of the proceeds go to the designer’s chosen charity). There will be even more prizes and surprises to discover on the day.
Miss Green’s Garden Party will be held on Sunday 6th September from 12.30pm – 4pm and the palatial surrounds of the Willows 462 St Kilda Road in Melbourne. Get your tickets and more information here.
