Fashion + Aid 2009

After the spectacle that was last year’s Fashion + Aid event (with acrobats, dancers, opera, rock bands and multiple fashion parades, oh my!); the event returns for a second time in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Actor Matthew Newton will host the grand evening on Saturday 12th September from 7pm at Crown’s Palladium Ballroom. Witness musical performances by Grant Smilie, footballer Russell Robertson, and Phil Ceberano. Fashion parades featuring designs from Bardot, April Maree Swimwear, Tony Bianco, Travisty, Jason Grech, and Tony Bianco will be on show.  Guests and supporters include Bert Newton, Vince Colosimo, Matthew Richardson, Buddy Franklin, model Kasia Z and chef George Calombaris. The highlight of last year, the auction will be on again with items up for bidding from couture gowns to tropical holidays (you can bid over phone beforehand or on night). And all that is just for starters!

Tickets include a sumptuous three course meal and wines. You can book online (try to get a table of ten together for your friends) or call 1300 361 059. StyleMelbourne is proud to support Fashion + Aid again for 2009 – stay tuned for more updates on entertainment as we get closer to September.

*New* More announcements have come through for September’s Fashion + Aid event (which has secured a major sponsor in i-select). The “four seasons in one day” themed fashion parades will also feature Bleecker St, Mesop and Ed Hardy. While Grant Smilie and a surprise headline act are also booked. A new competition of a grand pampering prize includes a Jason Grech gown and styling, shoes from Tony Bianco, dinner for two at the Press Club and makeover by Modele – heaven. *New*
