The Fashion Group International is a non-profit group that assists those in the fashion industry. Tonight they are presenting the European and US Autumn Winter 09/10 collections at their Fashion Flash Forecast event at 6.15pm to 8pm at the Whitehouse Institute of Design (Level 4, 672 Bourke St, Melbourne). That sounds like essential viewing for anyone in the fashion industry!
After this audio visual presentation, a fashion forum moderated by Patty Huntington of Frockwriter (an intelligent, must-read fashion blog) will begin featuring Vanessa Rochman designer of Metalicus, Elle Roseby the CEO of Sportsgirl and Kate Vandermeer the director of iSpyStyle (and basically my career icon at this stage). Naturally what would a serious discussion of fashion be without champagne, canapes and goodie bags?
