Sass and Bide opened their latest boutique at Melbourne’s GPO today.

High end Victorian knitwear label Cable has opened a pop up store at 25 Beatty Avenue Armadale. Their first retail destination will showcase Cable’s classic pieces crafted in Aussie Merino wool, Italian bamboo, silk and cotton over the Autumn/Winter 2009 season.

Endota Spa has introduced a new mask to their range of beauty products. At $55 their Organic Honey and Rosehip Face Mask is designed to both exfoliate and hydrate and also includes Jojoba and Papaya enzymes for a bit of a luxurious winter DIY salon treatment. For every purchase made form their Spa Organics range 1% goes towards Bush Heritage Australia.

Marie Uva from Rokk Ebony South Yarra has won the Creative Colourist category as well as the Victorian Hairdresser of the Year award at the Australian Hair Fashion Awards earlier this week.

Dansk, a new Scandinavian clothing boutique, has opened at 113 Chapel Street, Windsor. It stocks labels like Green Pony and Minimum.

My favourite street style photographer the Sartorialist’s Scott Schuman (c’mon you all know him by now surely) has arrived in Melbourne ahead of RAFW next week. I’m thrilled.

Tony Maticevski threw a soiree this week (at the Ivy in Sydney) showcasing dozens of previously unreleased designs from his past seasons and his new range of plumage laden footwear (as we had a sneak peek of at the Melbourne Fashion Festival last month).
